Dabisha is a very beautiful elegant Silken.
If you had to have a description of Dabisha's
temperment it would be "loving, loving,
and more loving". Her idea of a good
time is to cuddle close with you on the couch.
Except
when we take her lure coursing. Boy, her
attitude takes an about face and becomes very intent. She
has a very strong prey instinct which is needed for coursing. We almost decided not to take her
that first time since she had not shown
any tendencies towards prey drive before we
took her. Now she
loves to course. She also is a show stopper
with her beauty and confirmation. She was the
2002 Best In Show
at the 2002 Silkenfest, and in 2003 turned around
and once again was winners Bitch and went Best of Opposite Sex to our male, Apache, who went Best in Show at the
Fall Regional Specialty. What a tremendous
animal. Beauty, elegance and athletic skill,
all in one package.
